White Wine Berry Sangria

This weekend was absolutely crazy and amazing at the same time. We finally moved into our new apartment, had a fabulous weekend getaway, AND celebrated my birthday.
My moving/weekend/birthday recap is coming but I wanted to make sure I got this recipe up for Tasty Tuesday!
This was the official drink of the weekend and it is a new favorite of mine!
Forgive me, we were on vacation and didn't measure things out...so this recipe is just an estimate.
I don't think you can mess the recipe up so just go with it!
If you like sangria sweeter...add more sprite...
If you don't have blueberries or strawberries..add whichever fruit is in your fridge!
Enjoying this on a roof deck by the water is optional but I would most DEFINITELY suggest it!
Recipe:
  • 2 (1.5L) bottles of pinot grigio
  • 2 cans of sprite
  • 3-4 cups sliced strawberries
  • 2 cups blueberries
Ingredients:
  • Just mix it all together! Easy peasy!!
Link up below for Tasty Tuesday!

Citrus White Wine Sangria

Yes, I FINALLY have a recipe posted...and not just any recipe....a SANGRIA recipe.
I can imagine smiles all around!
I realize that you have probably been bored to tears with my life these past few posts..so this is my apology.
This is an AMAZING party recipe because its fast, easy, simple, and delicious!!
I made it for my graduation party last Saturday and served it in these large drink dispensers.

You can check out the drink dispensers: here.
They are really awesome...probably my most favorite purchase ever.
They are just so darn pretty and functional!

Along with the sangria, I served lemon water and margaritas.

You can find my margarita recipe here.

Even if you don't want to make a big batch of the sangria like I did, you can easily make a single serving!
So it works either way!

To make this sangria you need...
1 (1.5 L) bottle of white wine (either pinot grigio or riesling is fine..I used pinot for my party and it was delicious)
3 cans of citrus fresca (regular fresca is fine too!)
your favorite fruit: peaches, grapes, oranges, etc...
Mix all the above ingredients together and enjoy!!

For the 3 gallon dispenser, I ended up using 2.5 bottles of wine and 7 or 8 cans of fresca.

Holiday Red Wine Sangria

I love trying new Sangria recipes. I made this Sangria for Thanksgiving and I really liked it. This sangria recipe would be great for any holiday party. I served the sangria cold so that guests could serve themselves. The original recipe served the sangria warm which I think may be nice  if you are having a small get together on a cold winter day. I would recommend making the sangria about 6-8 hours before the party. This will allow all the flavors to blend together. I find that if you make the sangria too far in advice, the fruit rinds will make the sangria too bitter. Hope you like!

  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1 orange, sliced into rings
  • 1 lemon, sliced into rings

  • Combine wine, orange juice, brandy, and fruit slices in the pitcher

Raspberry Lemonade Sangria

SANGRIA SUNDAY!!! I just totally made that up but how ingenious is that?  Note to self: start have regular sangria sundays...

This drink is so perfect for girls night in...or a summer cookout...or really any time! Its sweet, light, colorful, and delicious. I'm a little bias because pink is my favorite color and raspberries may be my favorite fruit. Either way, trying this sangria is a must!

Ingredients:
  • 1.75L moscato wine (cheap wine is fine for sangria!)
  • 2 cups sprite
  • 1 can pink lemonade concentrate
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1/2 triple sec
  • raspberries
Recipe:
  • Its easy! Just mix all ingredients together in a pitcher. If possible, let stand for a couple hours before serving.
